Crown molding cutting made easy!
Cutting Austin Crown flat back foam crown moldings.
There is no more need for crown molding spring angles.
No more complex compound miter cuts to make.
Our crown moldings cut in most positions, in most miter saws
.
In this example we will show you how to cut a 120 degree vaulted up and
down crown molding corner for vaulted, angled, cathedral or sloped ceiling.

Start: Take an angle finder and measure the degree from the wall to the ceiling.
(example 120 degrees)  A regular flat ceiling is 90 degrees.
Take 120-90=30 degrees difference. Divide 30 by 2=15 degrees.
for more angles look at the PDF chart above.

This is what you need to set your miter saw angle to. Make both cuts at
15 degrees each. This will give you a 120 degree vaulted corner.
Be sure to lay the crown molding flat on the saw table when making these cuts.
You need three pieces of molding to get started.
